The Role of Social Stigma on Female Mental Health Conversations

Alison’s thesis utilizes data from a self-designed survey to examine self-perceived social stigma around mental health among female-identifying US college students. She shows that despite changing cultural norms, many individual nonetheless report some level of percieved stigma around depression and anxiety, regardless of their own diagnoses.
