Dante Manocchio

Scholar of Myself:
An Exploration of the Self Through Theory and Autobiography

Faculty Advisor: Megan Tusler, Assistant Instructional Professor of English

Dante’s thesis is an auto-theoretical exploration of self, which draws upon personal history, cultural analysis, and scholarly sources to make sense of complex and intersectional experiences. The work explores the meaning of vulnerability and the political, ultimately offering an argument for the value of using the self as the platform from which to understand the world.
